Situated in Radstock, just 5 miles outside the beautiful Georgian city of Bath and on the edge of stunning Somerset countryside, The Fromeway is a cosy, dog friendly village pub with contemporary guest rooms and a seasonal, freshly cooked menu.

We’re passionate about our traditional roots serving great value, home-cooked, British and International favourites with a few Fromeway twists along the way. Our menus change regularly and in line with the seasons.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome in the garden, the bar area and Snug. There are some beautiful circular countryside walks to be enjoyed from our door, with a refreshing drink and tasty meal to greet you on your return.
We’ve got history
Our family run pub has been part of the local community since 1852 beginning life as a cider shop serving local miners. As the 6th generation of the Denning family, we (sisters Emily & Hannah) continue to redefine The Fromeway putting our interpretations and stamp on the next chapter to serve our local community and visitors to the area alike. Or maybe you’re simply ready for your next kitchen adventure?We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our small, friendly and food-loving team.You’ll start with the essentials - vegetable prep, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and learning the ropes - but there’s plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and get stuck in.We’re looking for someone who’s keen, reliable, willing to learn and enjoys being part of a team.And who knows… stick around long enough and you might even be trusted with the secret recipe for our infamous mushy peas. Experience is not essential, we're more interested in personality and attitude but if you do already have experience, we'd love to hear from you too.⏰ 18-20 hours a week, for example 3 shifts a week; Wednesday 9-3pm, Friday 9-3pm and Sunday 11:30-6pm (there is some flexibility on week days and to work around school hours and the potential for more hours in the future) 💷 Competitive hourly rate dependant on experience (plus an equal share of tips)🚗 Must be 17, with own transport🤩 A good sense of humour and an appreciation of Take That are a bonusThink this could be you? HOPPER HAS RETURNED!! 🐰 After a Radstock-wide search, Hopper has come back to his rightful home, returned by a certain someone who had a bit too much fun at his birthday celebrations this weekend...he may or may not have been framed...
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS HARE...?! 🐰Over the weekend our beloved golden hare seemed to hop out of the bar and into the big wide world without a trace...So whodunnit then??!! The mystery prevails and we have our best detective on the case (Kath), but we'd love to see Hopper safely returned to his rightful home. 🏠There will be a handsome reward for his safe return (did someone say ironing and folding the B&B bed linens?!) No questions asked 😉Edit: He was last seen 28th AUGUST...he hasn't figured out how to time hop just yet 🫣
The sun's gone in and there's a (very) slight chill in the air, so that can only mean one thing...Christmas is approaching!! 🎄💫Yep, you've read that right and no, it's not too early!
